Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand Since Dec. 2016 he is Assistant Professor in Remote Sensing and GIS, Department of Information & Communication Technologies, School of Engineering and Technology (SET) at the Asian Institute of Technology (Thailand).
At AIT he is responsible of Remote Sensing, Remote Sensing Data Analysis and InSAR courses. His research incorporates methodological and thematic studies on the applications of advanced earth observation and geo-informatics techniques to environmental monitoring and assessment. His research focuses also on machine learning and geospatial big data mining, and he is conducting researches on advanced InSAR applications to earth surface changes and displacement monitoring.
Formerly was Researcher at Crops For the Future (Malaysia), seconded by The University of Nottingham Malaysia Campus (2014-2016), Post-doctoral researcher for various institutions in Italy and Adjunct Professor at University of Sassari (Italy) and University of Siena (Italy) (2006-2014).
