Divulghiamo una comunicazione arrivata al DADU dalla GAA Foundation

The next Venice Architecture Biennale will run from May 26th to November 25th, 2018, a period of six month
We, the GAA Foundation, a Dutch non-profit organisation, have also already started to organise our 2018 large international architecture exhibition titled “Time-Space-Existence”, which will be hosted by the European Cultural Centre in Venice.

The European Cultural Centre is located in Palazzo Mora on the main street in the center of Venice and in Palazzo Bembo on the Grand Canal next to the Rialto Bridge. In total, we use 3000 m2 exhibition space divided into rooms of various sizes. In addition we use two Venetian public gardens for outdoor presentations. Our exhibition is free entry for all of the over 300.000 visitors.

We dedicate different rooms each to one architect, firm or university project and several rooms will be used to present a combination of presentations. Each room will provide the spectators with an inside about each presented project from the architect’s point of view.

We like to show current developments, thoughts, ideas and even dreams in architecture. Therefore we bring together an international group of architects and universities with different cultural backgrounds. In the past we have presented architecture faculties such as: ETH Zurich, TU Delft, University of Houston, MIT and the University of Hong Kong.

In 2018 we will present with the Mies van der Rohe Foundation the finalists and winners of the Young Talent Architecture Award, a cooperation with over 100 schools and universities committed to architectural quality. In addition, we would like to invite you to participate in our exhibition with a faculty related project.

Our exhibition is a Non-Profit event, but although we would very much appreciate your participation, since we decided to be free entry for all visitors, we cannot cover all costs involved by ourselves, we are simply not rich enough. All participants will, unfortunately, need substantial additional funding for this exhibition.
